Chapter 34

"What are you doing?" He asked. "Looking around." I replied.

"Come here." He motioned me to come closer. I stood in front of him, "What?" I asked.

"Sit." He ordered, motioning me to sit on his lap. My mouth gaped, my heart began to thump against my chest. "Okay..." I said vaguely and abruptly sat on his lap, because I didn't want to anger him and I know he will force me one way or another. He smirked as he kissed my cheeks and began to continue his work. And I don't know why I suddenly felt kinda childish. I wrapped my one hand around him, looking at his handsome features up close. I smiled and began to poke his cheek. At first, he smiled back, but soon got annoyed.

"What?" He asked, irritated. I chuckled childishly and rested my head on his chest. "Nothing..." I said, moving my hand to his neck as well. "Go to the room... You are tired.." He sighed. I gave him one last poke and a peck on his cheeks and left.
