Chapter 54. Stolen Evidence

Detective Hanson’s POV

“Now where in the world did that come from?” I muttered as I stared at the clothes lying by the window. I looked around to check if anyone was there that could have left them, but they was clearly no one else around beside me.

“Anyway, I gotta kill that irritating creature,” I said as I pointed my flashlight back into the lab, looking at the floor to see if it was anywhere. I walked into the lab and searched around, though in reality I just wanted to use that as an excuse to take a sneak peek at the lycan specimen.

“Come out centi, centi centi,” I called as I looked around. It was nowhere to be found. Then I got to where the specimen lay and uncovered the white piece of cloth put over it.

“Ah,” I sighed in pleasure as I stared at it with a stare that expressed the bliss I felt from looking at it. “You’re so beautiful, you know?” I spoke to it as though it were alive. “I could literally spend a whole day staring at you,” I said
