Alexander’s POV
Cynthia strides into the room like she owns it—heels clicking, posture razor-sharp. She takes the last empty seat at the boardroom table, eyes sweeping over each person like she’s sizing them up for a game only she understands. Then, her voice cuts through the quiet.
“I see you all talking about a new chairperson,” she says smoothly. “Wouldn’t that have to be the person holding the highest shares?”
