BRIELLE

Sitting back on the bed, I gave out a sigh, with my hands covering my face.

The thought of Argon and Estelle's constant abuse on me, irritated me to the core.

It made me wish I could just grab them by the throat and... 

"Luna," I heard a whisper from behind.

A familiar one.

Turning around, I spotted Tania peeping into my room, to make sure it was safe for her to come in.

"Tania, you're back?" I stared in surprise.

Despite Argon's threat, she still came back. She tiptoed into the room, shutting it close with the bolt, before rushing to sit next to me.

"Tania, the Alpha had ordered you not to return here. Why did you disobey his command?" I asked, still looking at this maid that never ceases to amaze me.

She gave out a scoff, responding to my question, "I know I shouldn't be saying this, but he lost my respect when he pushed you off the stairs."

I was stunned to hear this from her.
