Restless, that's how I felt while pacing outside the emergency room, watching how nurses ran in and out of the room with speed.

"Don't delay! Hurry up!!" I heard Doctor Nicole's voice from inside, yelling out to the nurses that dashed out of the room.

I needed to know how Brielle was doing, but the way everything was going before my eyes, scared me deeply.

"Brielle, you have to be fine. You have to be fine, " I panicked, pacing outside.

"Alpha, " I heard a familiar voice calling out to me from the pathway at the left. When I lifted my head, I saw Jerome coming.

He had his hand pointing backwards to the area he just came out from, asking, "What are you doing here?"

He came beside me, touching me on the shoulder. He noticed how troubled I was and assumed it was all for Estelle. "Alpha, Estelle will be fine. We should thank the goddess thay she survived the poison. Please, be calm and come with me, " He said, about to pull me along.
