Dominic’s POV

The city lights blurred into a streak as I drove back home, my hands gripping the wheel tighter than necessary. Too riled up to go home immediately, I had taken the car and driven around for a while before heading back to the mansion.

My mind was a battlefield, torn between the memory of her lips on mine and the sting of her retreat.

The woman had me losing my mind without even noticing.

I could still feel the warmth of her skin, the way she fit perfectly against me, and the taste of her kiss that had left me burning with an ache I hadn’t known I was capable of.
