Everyone was present at Euphoria’s birthday, even Lucien came and apologized but the only man from whom Medusa didn’t even hear a single word was Zion.

“Hey, baby girl.” When Rhysand came behind Medusa covering her with a thick coat he couldn’t help but feel her shivering body and pulled her close to his chest.

“It has been so long, Rhy, and I have finally found my peace. I have forgiven dad but the close feelings have almost disappeared filled with nothing but a faint disappointment. But still I want to meet him, want to see what he has to say and for the past few days I thought that he would come to meet our daughter… his granddaughter but it looks like I was wrong.” Medusa sighed looking at the moon and remembering the father who she had mixed feelings for.

There is love but there was some blank coldness too.

“You cannot change the world, precious princess, just adapt yourself accordingly. He will come when he wants to, things will happen with their time.
