Lily

“Lily, what are you still doing there?” Chris calls from outside.

“I’m coming, baby!” I yell back, scrambling off the bed like my life depends on it. “Mia, I gotta go…I’ll talk to you later,” I say quickly through the mind-link before cutting her off.

I rush out of the room, expecting to see Chris waiting, but nope, he’s already gone. “Shit,” I mutter under my breath. He must’ve headed downstairs without me. Great start, Lily.

I jump into the elevator, smoothing down my sundress and checking my reflection in the mirrored walls. When I finally step outside, I spot him leaning against the hood of our ride, sunglasses on, looking like he just stepped out of a damn magazine.

A smile tugs at my lips. Goddamn, he’s so stupidly handsome…chiseled jaw, perfect cheekbones, and that tight red button-up hugging his chest and arms like it was tailored just for him. And don’t even get me started on his abs under that shirt…so fucking hot.
