Chris's POV
Mother wanted groceries, so I opted to get it for her.
I was running the errand, lost in my own thoughts, behind the steering, when suddenly I caught sight of a familiar figure.
My heart skipped a beat as I stopped dead in my tracks, my eyes fixed on the woman ahead.
There was something about her that seemed so familiar, yet I could not quite place her.
I racked my brain, trying to remember where I had seen her before. And then, it hit me, the piercing eyes, the curly hair, the small tattoo on her wrist.
My mind raced with questions. Who was she? Why did she seem so important even though she tried not being look like it.
She looked so familiar.
I felt a shiver run down my spine as I watched her disappear into the crowd. I knew I had to find out more about her
