Chris's POV

I cannot believe it! I am finally going to have my chance to tell my side of the story.

I have been waiting for this moment for what feels like an eternity.

As soon as I heard that I would be testifying in court, I felt a weight lift off my shoulders. I can't contain my joy, my excitement, my relief even though it does not feel like it outwardly.

I have been holding onto this for so long, bottling up my emotions, my anger, my hurt.

But now, I finally have the opportunity to let it all out. I get to tell the world what really happened, what the syndicate did to me, how they manipulated and made me an inmate.

I will ask tell the world how detective James aided and made sure I was going to spend my entire life in jail.

I feel a sense of vindication, of validation. I'm not crazy, I'm not lying, I'm not the one who's guilty. I'm the victim, and now I get to prove it.
