Octavia entered the luxurious and expensive restaurant, which was empty, indicating that Eric had rented the whole place. She smiled and walked up to him. He was sitting at the far end of the restaurant. When Eric saw her, he stood up and pulled her into a hug.

“It’s been a while since I saw you,” he said as they embraced.

“Someone missed me,” Octavia teased him.

He broke the hug and pulled out a chair for her. She sat down, and he quickly called a waitress. Octavia stole glances at him and noticed he was a little bit nervous.

“For a playboy, you shouldn’t be nervous,” she teased, and he smiled.

“You are my first girlfriend, so I’m scared of doing the wrong thing,” Eric confessed.

“But you weren’t nervous on our first date.”
