Ryan could be seen smiling alone, unable to stop thinking about Maxie—his child—the way the child held his hand when he carried him. His doorbell rang, and he quickly went to answer it. Upon opening the door, he met Audrey with Maxie in her arms.

“My baby boy,” Ryan exclaimed happily, taking the baby from her.

“I guess you’re happy to see him,” Audrey remarked, entering the house with him.

“I’ve been thinking about him all day,” he admitted, directing his attention to the child. He had begged Audrey to bring him because he kept missing him.

“Henry asked for a DNA test,” Audrey revealed, and Ryan’s eyes widened in shock.

“What! Why?” he asked.

“His mother, of course. She asked him to do a DNA test because she doesn’t believe the baby is Henry’s,” Audrey explained.

“What are we going to do?”

“We’ve already done the test. It was Madelyn’s doctor who ran the test, but I’m always a step ahead,” Audrey said, laughing.
