Chapter 55

When Ryan heard the news, he rushed down to the hospital with Maxie. He met reporters waiting in front of the hospital. They wanted to interview or talk to someone. He squeezed in and managed to enter, but somebody hit Maxie with his hand, so he started crying. He had to wait to calm him down, but it seemed the hit was hard.

A nurse rushed to him and collected Maxie from him. She pet him, and he became quiet a few minutes after. Ryan was shocked by how she had done it.

“Power of women,” she said and smiled.

“Is there a Mrs. Audrey that was brought here?” Ryan asked.

“I don’t think so,” the nurse replied.

“The lady that came here with a guy, she is fair, tall, she was brought in here maybe an hour ago,” Ryan explained.

“Ohh, Mrs. Sebastian,” the nurse said, and Ryan glared at her secretly. He hated it when anyone called Audrey Mrs. Sebastian.
