Sabrina’s eyes darted to the mouth-watering steak on the table. She just finished setting up the table when she got a text message from Kenneth that he would be joining his family for lunch. He didn’t even ask her to join them! How could he even do such a thing?

She was left alone to dine! However, instead of feeling down, Sabrina decided to make the most of it and enjoyed her meal in solitude. As she savored each bite, she recalled how much effort she has put into the meal preparation because she didn’t want to disappoint her husband!

After lunch, Sabrina went to the daybed and read a book. After flipping each page, she was lost into the fictional world, and then she has forgotten about Kenneth’s betrayal, albeit, it was a temporary recluse.
