Chapter 54. I Had a Sick Day

Ellie’s POV

I woke up wondering what I was doing on the couch. Only to remember that the previous night was a marathon as Aria and I decided to watch a movie.

At least I was already in my pj’s. I stood up and headed for my room. It’s a Wednesday so going to work was inevitable. I quickly took my bath and did other necessary things, and I was good.

I headed to the fridge and took out some leftovers. I placed them in the microwave, and minutes later, it was steaming. I took it to the dining. Just then Aria walked down the stairs.

“What’s up, babe?”She asked and gave me a peck on the cheeks.

“Up and ready for another day,” I replied.

“As usual always the workaholic.” She teased.

“Aren’t you going to get prepared?” I asked.
