After my last meeting with Ellie, I was left with thoughts of how our relationship has transcended over the last week.

Consumed with my thoughts and emotions, I sat in the confines of my office, hoping that I would finally think of a way to handle the situation.

It has been such an emotional rollercoaster throughout the week from being stressed about the upcoming court trial and having to deal with Sandra and at the same time, Ellie, who despises me at the moment.

The sound of my phone ringing suddenly distracted me from my thoughts, reaching for the phone on my desk.

My eyes widened in shock as I saw who the caller was; different thoughts ran through my head, trying to wrap my head around the reason she would call me at that time.
