Phone Call

Rohit and Rai kept waiting for three more hours. Rai was getting frustrated. He kept seeing how nurses were running to and fro the theatre.

The operation seemed to be having complications. Rohit had sensed it. He was trying to contain it. But when he was fed up-he opened the door to the theatre and ran in.

Rai followed him-yelling his name as he pursued him. The door lead to different theatres. Rohit kept looking for the one his mother was in.

Each door had a transparent glass like wall. He was looking around until he found a patient that looked like his mother.

He was unable to enter as the door recommended an authorised entry card. Rohit stood right outside as he watched the doctors.

When when Rai caught up with him. He saw the doctors operating on Rohit's mother. The theatre was not soundproofed so they heard the doctors inside.

The operation seemed to be going smoothly. Rohit fixed his eyes in the room. Rai kept staring a
