Phone Call II

"Hello Aunt Vedika" Rohit answered his Aunt with a frail voice.

"How are you Rohit?" Vedika asked.

"I'm fine Aunt. But mum isn't." Rohit said to his Aunt.

He could found no words to express how he felt. He wished deep down his heart if his Aunt could be there for him.

He was very close to his Aunt. They got along pretty well. Though she took care of him like a mother would but there was no way she could feel the space of his mother in his heart.

"What happened? What did the doctor say?" Vedika asked Rohit.

Rohit was devastated. He did not know how best he would explain the situation. He thought about a million ways in a split second.
