Six Days Later.
When Quincy steps into the kitchen, I glare at her. Worse, Ray follows behind her, shirtless and in a pair of sweats.
His brown hair sticks up everywhere, and it’s times like this that I notice how different we are.
I’ve been told we look nothing alike, and some days I see just how true that statement is.
“We’re sorry,” Quincy mumbles, her cheeks red.
I cross my arms. “This is the third night I’ve heard you guys. Why, just why, can’t you hold out until I leave?”
They’ve been going at it this week, and it has to be the most uncomfortable experience of my life.
When I told Ezra about it, he laughed and asked me why I’m always at the other end of people’s intimacies.
