Chapter 132

Damon returned to his office with an anxious heart. Where could be Anya be? Is she okay? Is she safe? What is she feeling right now?

All the emotions bottled up inside Damon that he felt very frustrated. He regrets he was not here when she was in a tight situation. 

Damon hurriedly took his phone to call Roger. He needed to find Anya.

The phone kept ringing and, in the end, he was directed to the voicemail. He became anxious once again. It seems Roger is busy.

He sighed and just left a message about the matter. Next, he hanged the phone and called his own intel team and ordered to look for Anya’s whereabouts.

After all these, he still wasn’t satisfied. With a tight expression, he faced the glass wall of his office overlooking the city. 

He then thought of Anya.

What did she go through for her to need to leave?

Was she scared? Heartbroken?

She might have felt betrayed, and no one was there for her.
