When Damon left, he took out his phone and called Anya.

After a couple of rings, no one answered.

He tried again, and still, she would not answer his phone. He became anxious. Just what happened when he was away?

He was planning to ask the secretary when Adam walked in from outside.

Adam just got back from sending Anya home. When he went inside, he immediately saw Damon.

"Damon!" He greeted.

Damon approached Adam.

"Did something happen? Where's Anya?" He asked as he tried to look behind Adam.

Adam sighed as he responded.

"I sent her home."

Damon wrinkled his brows.

"What? Why?"

"There was a commotion when you were away. She. Veronica Greens made quite a show.." He trailed as he did not know how exactly he would tell Damon.

Damon already had a gist of what happened, and with darkened eyes, he squeezed more information from his friend.

"Tell m
