Chapter 43

The news of George's attack quickly reached the house of Ambrosia. Lily was shocked as she hurriedly went to her daughter to tell her that her father had been rushed to the hospital due to a heart attack. Veronica also panicked, and the two women went to the hospital as soon as possible.

When they arrived, George came out of the emergency room and was transferred to a regular ward. Lily then went to the doctor to ask about her husband's condition.

"Well, the attack was triggered due to shock and extreme worked-up of emotions. I advise that the patient receives more rest and avoid too much stress." The doctor replied.

Lily thanked the doctor. She then wondered what caused him to receive such a massive shock that led to a heart attack.

They took quite a time in the doctor's office as he advised and prescribed medicines for the patient. When they entered George's room, he was already awake.

Lily immediately rushed to him.
