Chapter 309. He Matters

I rush towards the glass door, attempting to open it. I realize it was locked, but I am too worried to recall every detail.
"Can Levi unlock the door?" I ask urgently, my voice shaking.
The individual in issue stays stoic.
Everything begins to go fuzzy. "Open that damned door."
My heart begins to race, and my hands are once again soaked in sweat. He does not look at me or move to unlock the door.
I turn around, looking for something in the restaurant to use. I handily found a broom in the corner of one of the booths; I almost believe the monarch intended it here for this reason. I swiftly walk up, snatching the broom, which turns out to be a wooden stick.
I flip and twist the big wooden stick in my palm, ready to break the door down if he refuses to open it. I doubt it would break easily, but they gave me no option but to try.
