Chantel giggles, "You are correct, such cries should only be reserved for the mother." Her eyes sweep across the baby's face, and she smiles softly, her fingers gently brushing against the infant's tiny hand.
Priya chuckles and says, "Exactly." She nods in agreement, her gaze shifting to the surrounding area.
"How old is she?" Maia begins to wail softly; it's not loud or deafening yet, but I fear she will do so any moment.
"About six months, or five—it's difficult to keep count, but she's nowhere near one." Priya chuckles before asking, "How old is yours?"
