Chantel reached her hand out to me as she hugged Mera, squeezing my hand sweetly while I mouthed the words "I love you" to her.

As she pulled back from her hug with V and talked to her, I saw her sign the words "I love you" to me.

We were all taught a little sign language when we were younger, but we didn't use it that often, so we forgot about it. We also used to skip those classes because we rarely got to spend time with each other without our father trying to separate us.

I think she's picking it up again. We all should. It could be so helpful in stressful moments where we can't communicate directly. Also, it's just the right thing to do as a Queen for her and as a lord like myself. It's respectful.

"Come on," I said to Mera as I took her hand and tugged her with me to the washroom. Chantel was right; she did need some water splashed over those incredibly red cheeks of hers.
