"Can we please just wrap it up for now? We've discussed about-" he stops when his mathematical skills fail him, scratching his head.

"75 percent of what needed to be talked about," Laurence finishes for Tariq, nodding.

"Exactly. We haven't even been to our beds for what? A whole week now?"

"Six nights," I correct, counting on my fingers. "But Sunday is the engagement party, right? We'll finish everything by then."

The engagement party has been postponed due to our meeting, which is not something I'm happy about. Even though I'm dreading that awful nuisance, it would mean that I could finally be with Chantel again.
