Chapter 602. Blue Eyes Flicking

She notices me, her blue eyes flicking up to meet mine but for only a moment.

She brushes my gaze off and continues playing that sweet tune. It reaches its crescendo and then comes to a slow end.

I search for somewhere to place the cake so I can applaud her. I walk towards her and place it on top of the piano before I proceed to applaud her giddily.

"That was beautiful." I smile. "I didn't know that you played any musical instruments."

"You never asked." She replies curtly. "What's with the cake?"

"Oh, this? I saw it in the kitchen and instantly craved it. It's really good-"
