My angel returns at lighting speed, the doctor trailing behind him. "Empress," Aceso bows his head, "You're worried about her fetal movement right?"

I nod and he jumps into action, moving my dress up and putting that cold jelly on my bump. I hadn't noticed the table that a guard was bringing in. But he uses the machine on that table, moving it all over my belly.

"Look right here," He points to the screen. Lexcis and I both move so close that we might fall into the screen. "She's moving her hands and those tiny tiny feet too. This is her heartbeat," He announces before letting us hear the fast and steady beats.

I laugh, my body feels at ease the second I hear those loud and rapid pumps. I relax into Lexcis's arms, "She's healthy then?"
