Chapter 748. Bleeding

I watch as Chantel leans down, inhaling her sweet baby scent. It's heavenly. I can tell that she's exhausted because her eyes are slowly fluttering shut. She looks- "Chantel?"

"Lexcis... Take her." her voice comes out in a struggle and that makes me jump up from my seated position. I take our daughter into my arms, "Darling, what's going on?"

She licks her lips before she can talk, "I think I'm bleeding. Get-" That's it. She doesn't even get to finish her sentence before her eyes shut and she loses consciousness.

"Chantel? Darling?!" I scream for the medics when she doesn't respond. Aceso bursts in and the first thing he does is pull the blanket off of her. The bed is soaking wet from her blood.

The clean blue bed sheets are covered in a deep red. It's so much blood.
