"God, that felt good." she laughs, leaning forward, her head landing on my lap.

"I'm joining you two." Zave decides to throw himself on top of us.

"Ow! My leg!" V giggles. Making a pig-like sound in between her laughs.

"Okay, get over it." Zave slaps the back of my head and V's too. "Come here." He yanks us both into a strong hug. It feels good. "I love you." He tells us both and we tell him that we love him too. When he pulls back, I drag Veronica into another hug, whispering that I love her as well.

"I'm proud of you two," I tell them. "You were really strong."

"As were you," Zave says and V nods. "Yeah, you could've killed them. You didn't!" She chuckles.

"That is true, yes. However, he did slap you and I will-"
