"Any idea what he wants to check?" Aldric questions, his tone curious.

"I don't know. He already did a check on Lexcis earlier this morning now that he has better medical equipment so I guess that it's my turn," I say, trying to sound upbeat despite my nerves. "I don't want to be poked with needles... Do something as my Second."

"Well, if you really don't want it... I'll have to hold you down," He grins mischievously, and I can't help but laugh.

"Yeah... You're right. He has to."

I lie down, letting out a big breath while I wait for Aceso. He doesn't let me wait too long though. "Good morning, Empress," He smiles at me while rolling up his sleeves.

"Morning... What are you planning on doing?" I ask, feeling a mixture of curiosity and apprehension.

He laughs, "Don't worry. I'm going to take some bloo
