Chapter 123. Master Would Win

Hunter’s POV

I learned that the explosion of pheromones was caused by releasing a ton of it at once, causing a chain reaction. However, I also realized that wolfsbane should be able to counter it since the pheromones were created from the werewolf’s body. So, I opened up one of the battles I had and sprayed it all over the werewolves, negating the majority of the blast. I then decided it was time to finish off Hermione, so I covered my sword completely with the second bottle of wolfsbane and charged at her.

“Stay back! Or just obey me!” she shouted at me, but I wasn’t about to be ordered around by a self-centered werewolf.

I lifted my blade above my head, and as I was about to deliver the finishing blow, Lancer appeared riding on the back of a deranged Cris and was lifting his spear above his head as well.

I couldn’t believe we were about to strike down our opponents at the same time, but we did.
