Chapter 168. Breath of Fire

Charlotte’s POV

I decided to try and form a small fireball in my throat. Hopefully, I wouldn’t burn my throat in the process since I had literally no idea how to actually shoot out fire like a dragon. I was going off what I had seen from the lizard dragon we faced when attacking the Aztec wolf pack and legends about dragons. I had hoped that would be enough.

Then I remembered Eric’s words: imagination is key. So, if I just imagined the attack well enough, I’d be just fine. But if I failed, I might end up with something like Kali’s water fissure, and I didn’t want to imagine myself with scars on my throat. Just thinking about Hunter’s reaction to that gave me goosebumps.

I opened my mouth wide, and as soon as the monster saw this, it wrapped itself up with its stretchy arms as if that was going to save it.

“Mystical Fire Dragon Breath!” I shouted, and just as I imagined, the flames passed through my throat safely and emerged as a great torrent of flame
