Charlotte’s POV

Miranda and Eric had one final discussion about their mother’s before ending off with a handshake and a hug. I really thought those two had something special going on, guess I was wrong.

Jeff just flexed his muscles and hoped that we’d one day meet again. At this point, I just wanted to see what truly made him the beta of the Ruby claw pack. Hopefully one day we’ll see him fully in action.

Strange enough, Velvet walked towards me and whispered in my ear.

“Charlotte, our bout doesn’t end here, one day we’ll settle the score, and I’ll show you that I’m a bigger shot than you,” she said this as a challenge and I just nodded. I knew someday we’d have to fight, and I wasn’t going to go down easily, no matter what Velvet had in store for me, I would face it.

Nothing like a friendly rivalry to get me pumped, especially now that my main goal was to stop Kiana.

Kiana… I never thought she would have become such a threat to my friends
