Claire’s POV

“Do you think Gina will contact Cole now that she’s left with nothing again?” I asked him.

“I actually don’t know but if she does, what a thick face she is,” Luke said, and I agreed, “Don’t worry about it, I’m sure Cole won’t do the same mistake twice and Cole had gotten to know the attitude of her mom, I’m pretty sure he won’t fall for it again,” he said.

Luke’s right, Cole should avoid his mom as much as possible so she won’t cause a problem in his own family.

When we arrived at home, I carried baby Sebi so he could sleep peacefully in his room. I opened the baby monitor so I could check on him from time to time. We did our usual routine until it was time to rest but I felt Luke suddenly hugged me from behind.

“Extra clingy tonight?” I chuckled.

“I miss you,” he said.
