Chapter 60

Claire’s POV

We decided to rest as soon as we arrived at our hotel in Cebu. We had room service for our lunch, and when it was 6 in the evening, Luke prepared to meet his clients at the lobby of our hotel.

“I’m going to swim at the pool while waiting for you,” I smiled at him.

“Are you sure you’ll be fine without me?” He asked.

“Of course, I can handle myself,” I chuckled and he nodded.

I let him leave our room first before I prepare my swimsuit. It was already dark outside, and there were only a few people at the pool area. I was swimming, going back and forth until I decided to check my phone. As I got off the water I noticed two blue eyed men walking towards me with a smile on their face. I quickly put the towel on me and face them.

“You need help with something?” I asked politely. They were not locals for sure.
