Chapter 66

Luke’s POV

After our breakfast, I asked Claire if she could come with me to the office and wait for me while I had a meeting with my dad and the other lawyers of our company. Claire agreed right away, I think Dad will talk about Claire’s family business. I hope to have a good news from Dad.

When I arrived at the meeting room, my colleagues, who became my friends too, greeted me warmly and congratulated me on my recent wedding. “Nice to see you again, Luke,” they chuckled.

We had a small talk about life until Dad went inside the meeting room with the other lawyers.
