Claire’s POV

After running errands at the wedding venue, we went straight to the location of our future house near my parents’ house. Today was going to be the first day of the construction of the house, and it made me so excited. I knew building your dream house was a dream come true for everyone, and I was just glad we had the ability to do what we wanted in our lives.

After visiting the house, Luke and I went to my mom’s house to have some dinner with my brothers. They were already in the house when we got there, Marjorie’s baby bump started to be visible, and it made me excited for mine as well.

I guess Marjorie saw the smile on my face when I looked in her belly.

“Hey,” she said and I chuckled when I realized she saw me.

“My baby bump is visible already; I felt so proud,” she smiled at me.

“That baby is going to be as beautiful as you,” I said.

“We don’t know the gender yet.”

“I bet it’s a girl. You are glowing,”
