Claire’s POV

I spent the whole day in my room, I still haven’t gone to my apartment because of the smell of the paint and I realized Dad needed me more here. It’s already 5 in the afternoon and Arlo called to inform me that he’s on the way to pick Luke at the airport. Luke probably thought I’ll be the one to pick him up, And I felt sorry I didn’t do the girlfriend duty that we talked about.

I’ve been looking at the clock, wondering if Luke was with Arlo by now so I decided to call Arlo to ask him instead of Luke. Luke is probably wondering what the heck is wrong with me, that I’ve been avoiding him since I saw that photo from his socials.

“Hey, Claire! I’m with Luke already, he told me to bring him to you,” Arlo said and I kind of panicked.

“What? I’m not home—” I said.
