Two Days Later.

I walked quietly in the field the night after leaving Caelan. He was a bit clingy but he understood that I needed to work on duty tonight. We’ve been together all day and I sincerely miss him but I need to complete some training tonight.

My eyes suddenly catch a movement around the omega quarters. It turned out to be the omega who came to the pack two weeks ago. I have always been suspicious of her. The feeling has been sitting in my gut since the first night she arrived. Everyone else saw a scared omega. I saw someone who watched too much.

Tonight, the feeling won. I didn’t confront her. I just followed her. She leaves the omega quarters, moving slowly, like she knows exactly where she's going. That alone sets my teeth on edge. Traumatized wolves don’t move around where they don’t know
