No one saw or noticed him at first. Not because he is subtle or he is strangely invisible but because the battlefield is already in chaos. Wolves and demons were locked together in a brutal fight that doesn’t seem like it will end soon. Everyone is focused on surviving the next second.

Then the ground shifts suddenly. It wasn’t an explosion, it moved because someone stepped onto it. The tremor rolls outward in a slow wave. Warriors who were in the middle of the fight, staggered backwards. Some fall to one knee without understanding why. A few demons snarl and retreat instinctively, their claws digging into dirt as if trying to hold their ground.
