Kieran’s POV

I knew she wouldn’t come willingly but I still asked anyway. I have been trying to see for awhile but its an excuse after another. Damian made sure I was completely fine before he allowed me to leave the special infirmary. It still feels strange that I am this weak but I am still trying to get used to amere wolf’s life.

“She’s in the east wing,” one of the guards told me quietly, interrupting my thoughts and avoiding my eyes like everyone else has started doing lately. Like I’m something fragile now.

Maybe they’re right.

I nod once and walk past him, my steps slower than they used to be. Not because I’m scared… but because everything in my body still feels unfamiliar. Heavy. Weak.
