She is not listening and that is very unusual of her. Sienna never used to do that, not since I started guiding her through the structure of the demon realm, the layers of power, the ancient rules that still hold everything together beneath the chaos. She absorbs knowledge like it belongs to her. Like she is remembering, not learning.

That is how I knew from the beginning that She is not pretending or She is not trying to be something else.
