8 Days Before the Execution.

“I AM READY” I said to the shaman and I closed my eyes just like he said.

Then I felt the word underneath my feet changing.

One second I was standing in the healer's chamber, surrounded by tension, sweat, and the barely breathing bodies of Alpha Kieran and Sienna. The next, a wave of ancient energy snapped around me and took me to a land of unknown.

Then all of a sudden my boots touched solid ground again, I staggered slightly, my lungs catching on the heavy air and I suddenly felt weak but it was just for a short while. It was cold, not just cold, unnatural and strange. The type that creeps into your soul. I looked round and my eyes caught human bones and skulls on the floor, the scent of something rotten curling into my nostrils.
