Maurvi’s POV

I was a bit upset today. I was not able to understand Gautam’s behavior. I was stealing glances at him and when he did the same I looked away… There seemed to be some awkwardness between us. It seemed that he wanted to be with me yet he was doing just the opposite.

What was going on?

Someone knocked at the door. I opened it, Gautam was standing there. I looked at him and was surprised to see him.

“Yes? What happened? Did you forget something?” I asked him.

He looked at me, I was wearing a pink night suit. He kept looking at me for a minute or two and then cleared his throat and said, “Can I come in, I need to talk to Sandhya for a minute.”

I nodded and stepped aside. He came into our room and went towards her. He had an ointment in his hand.
