I was so excited that at least one of the functions was celebrated where both families would be present… I was dying to be with my tomato. We all went for sangeet and Mehandi… I was excited to see her in front of me, where I would be able to share a moment with her.

But all my dreams were crushed when Maurvi’s dad took me aside and made me sit with his relatives.
