Dr. Parks smiled back and shook his head a little. “That is where I was meant to be today, anyway. I only came into the office to see you because you called.” His face flushed with color. “They called me to say that you were coming in. They should have sent you directly to the hospital to see me instead of booking you to see the other doctor.”
