I never thought I’d experience having Jason back on the team again. But it was something so incredible that it had made me stop worrying about absolutely everything else.

“You look like the old Chris again, the one who wasn’t bitter,” Sallie said, playing with the tablecloth, it looked like she was about to knock over everything on the table.

I smiled.

Jason got up to go see Lucero, the girl who was recovering from the injuries she sustained on the trip. From what I heard, she was like a fan, but a little more normal. I didn’t like people who were believers of Tachje very much. They brought back bad memories. Although Jason told me what he saw in that strange world, in the same way he wasn’t very fond of that kind of thing either. They gave me too much distrust.

I went with him.

The girl started to open her eyes, not understanding at all where she was. She looked much healthier than when she arrived.

“Jason?” she asked, looking around.
