“It’s training time,” I said, determined. I was tired of waiting.
I looked at Jacob, who had that look he used to get when he was about to make an excuse.
“Don’t tell me you’re not coming.” I narrowed my eyes; the annoyance was noticeable.
It was the second time he had said he would train and didn’t. He was one of the few opponents who could stand up to me, the others didn’t contribute anything to my training.
“You’re kidding, if I go.” Jacob raised an eyebrow in a mocking expression. “Sometimes you act really dumb.”
“The fools are the ones who don’t train even with a war ahead.” I replied, coldly.
Jacob had been absent lately, Dove had had a problem with his lack of attention or something, I couldn’t remember exactly.
