The dungeons where the puppeteers had been before, where we went down to discover the truth about their criminal acts, now housed the interrogator everyone feared so much. Larry’s reputation followed him; everyone knew of his ruthless nature. A part of me believed that he had redeemed himself, that he had changed over the years. He wasn’t the guy I knew when we were in the castle. He possessed more mercy, even behaved in a less aggressive way, although perhaps he didn’t even realize it himself. His change made me not feel so bad when I was around him.
